L3Harris FA2100

L3Harris' FA2100 Cockpit Voice and Data Recorder (CVDR) delivers exceptional performance and reliability with up to two hours of recording capabilities on all four channels. Its small size and lightweight engineering make it the ideal CVDR solution for an array of civil, commercial and military aircraft and helicopters. The ruggedized Crash-Survivable Memory Unit (CSMU) is made of stainless steel, but is optionally available in lightweight titanium. The FA2100 can also be installed as a stand-alone Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) or Flight Data Recorder (FDR).

The unit is ARINC 573.717/747 (data) 557- and 757- compliant. While the standard FA2100 weighs only 10 pounds, it has demonstrated incredible crash worthiness. In installations where even greater weight savings are required, the FA2100’s standard stainless steel Crash Survivable Memory Unit (CSMU) can be manufactured using lightweight titanium.
